About
Advertising For Good
Alberni Valley Advertising is a social enterprise owned by not-for-profit, Community Futures Alberni-Clayoquot (CFAC) and conveniently located next to CFAC’s other social enterprise, Coombs Country Candy. We rent 15 billboards (8 east-facing and 7 west-facing) along Vancouver Island’s Pacific Rim Highway 4. Our boards are the first billboards seen while heading towards Tofino, Pacific Rim National Park, Ucluelet, and Bamfield, and the last billboards seen while headed towards Cathedral Grove/MacMillan Provincial Park, Coombs, Oceanside and Central Vancouver Island
As a social enterprise, a portion of our proceeds are reinvested into the Alberni Valley and Vancouver Island’s West Coast. We support various charitable organizations and community groups throughout the region including the Canadian Mental Health Association in Port Alberni, School District 70, and the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre.
